Every day or so I get the dialog box from SymUIAgent telling me that I changed networks and asking me to identify the new network. I can select my home network, and then have to enter my password to effectuate the change. But I haven't changed netowrks; my computer hasn't moved at all. It's rather annoying to have to keep entering my password to make an unneeded change.
I recently upgraded to Mavericks. Possibly related?
Are you on a wired or a wireless connection?
(Also, what brand of router do you have, and is it just the one computer connected directly to the router, or are there other devices on the network? Finally, what specific Norton software/version are you running, and who is your Internet service provider?)
Wireless connection on Apple Airport Extreme. Other devices are connected to the wireless network. Using Norton Internet Security 5 for Mac, version 5.6 (47). ISP = Time Warner cable. Have had the same set up for years.
