Sysprepped images don't work?

Sorry I don't think this is the right place for this but I don't know where else to turn.

I'm trying to create images for a Dell Optiplex 755 with Windows XP Pro and some special software on it.

I'm doing a Sysprep reseal with all options except the Don't generate new Sid

On the physical system I created the image from I get no problems and can load the image with no hassle, however on other machines with the EXACT same hardware specs when loading the image it gets to the mini-setup and won't let me move the mouse, the Numlock key is stuck on and I can get no input from the keyboard.

Any ideas?

There may be several factors that contribute to imaging a system and copying it to a new one with Norton Ghost. Which product are you using? It sounds like Ghost Solution Suite might be a better fit for the kind of work you are performing.
