System Doctor problems

LS,

having installed NSW Premier 2008 for some time on my PC, I recently discovered two irritating problems with Norton System Doctor (version 19.0.1.8):

1

when selecting, Utilities > Norton Utilities Integrator, the application report "The file NMAIN.EXE is missing. It is required for the Norton Utilities Integrator to function properly".

Indeed, when searching for this file it is not found on the system.

2

when trying to swap for another configuration, File > Open Configuration > *.nsd (any configuration file that was previously saved)

the following message appears "Unable to restore configuration file. Backup/Restore rights are required to perform this operation".

Note that I am logged in with Administrator Rights.

Apart from these issues Norton System Doctor does seem to function properly.

I contact Symantec Help Desk for the second problem: changing rights of files and parts of the registry did not fix the issue.

Following their suggestion I upgraded to the 2009 version, but the problem persisted, so I reverted to the 2008 version (which I like better).

Any explanation or suggestion to find any solution would be highly appreciated.

Kind regards,
