I replaced my 750GB drive with a 1TB drive by first doing a full drive backup using Ghost 15, replacing the drive with the new 1TB drive, and then restoring the contents of my original drive. The process when smoothly except for one problem. On my original drive the 100MB System partition was first, followed by the main drive C partition. When I started the process, I assumed Ghost would restore the original paritions in the same order and then I'd be able to expand the C partition to cover the full 1TB drive.
Unfortunately Ghost restored the partitions in the reverse order, putting the C partition first followed by the System partition. I now have 250GB of unused space beyond the system partition that I cannot merge with my main C partition. It looks like I'm going to have to go through the process again, but how can I make sure Ghost will restore the System partition at the beginning of the disk, in front of the C partition?
