I have SystemWorks 2003 and a "Friend" deleted it via Windows control and now I can't reinstall. I keept getting the message:
Norton Utilies is missing core application files:
\Norton Utilitees 14\Data\map.dat
\Norton Utilities 14\Data\values.dat
\Norton Utilities 14\Data\keys.dat
Please reinstall.
1) I assume Utilities 14 is the same as SystemWorks 2003. Right?
I reintalled and when I try to start the product, I get a dialog message "Core product file(s) have been modified. Please run Smart update or reinstall product.
I'm assuming that, somehow, I'm going have to manually uninstall the product. Is my assumption correct? If so, is there a checklist someplace to manually uninstall?

I don't know what Smart update but I reinstalled SystemWorks 2003 with "No Joy."
