TAB from SCOTTRADE blocked

I have installed NORTON 360 for Windows 8. It is working nice. I use Scottrade.com to trade stocks. The website gets well displayed, however when I click on "Quotes & Research" TAB to analyze my stocks, the section gets block. I have a laptop with Total defense software and the Scottrade website is displayed properly. What do I do to allow that TAB from scottrade to be shown?

This issue is caused by Internet Explorer 10 and the way it handles Java Scripting within secure websites, like Scottrade. We recommend using another browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, as these browsers are not having any issues with Java Scripting. If you prefer to continue using Internet Explorer, you can follow the steps below for a quick fix. But please note that when you close the browser, Internet Explorer will revert back to IE 10. 

 

  1. Click on the desktop tile from the Start window
  2. Open IE from the desktop
  3. Click on Tools in the top right corner
  4. Select “F12 Developer Tools”
  5. Click on “Browser Mode” at the top of the Developer Tools window
  6. Select Internet Explorer 9 (IE9)
  7. Close the Developer Tools window
  8. Access Scottrade and load the Quotes and Research page
