Hi all i need to do the above but the trouble is i no longer have the pc, is there a way i can view what computer have been allocated to my account? and how do i go about taking one off and then adding a new one?

The quickest and easiest solution for you is http://us.norton.com/support/contact/contact.jsp?pvid=cs scroll down if necessary to get to the chat button and work with them to get things straighteded out.

For future cases like this there is a new feature introduced with Norton 2012 called Norton Management. This will allow you to free up activations on your own in the future if you are faced with a similar situation.
