I am using my laptop for high quality digital music files fed to an external DAC that runs directly to a 2 channel amplifier. Unfortunately Norton causes the hard drive to 'work' in behind the files as I am playing through iTunes and the result is the odd bit of distortion. When run ning files like this from a laptop, everyone turns all other software off and of course I also need to do this for Norton as well. The WiFi is disabled as well when I play my files. Is there an easy way to temporarily disable or turn off Norton Internet Security 2011??
