Temporarily turn off Norton

Norton 360 is blocking a file from a program I am trying to download to my Mac mini. I have looked at the Norton 360 menu options but cannot find anything to disable or turn off Norton while I complete the download.

Any suggestions?

Caveat: I’m not Mac

I have had the same issue before, Norton can be tricky to fully pause on Mac. Sometimes the easiest workaround is to temporarily disable Auto-Protect in the settings, then re-enable once the download finishes.
