Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface

Last night I left my computer running Norton360, full system scan.  This morning Security History shows multiple (& continuing) Info messages: "IP address has disappeared from adapter Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface (IP address: .......".  Each is followed immediately (often same hh:mm:ss) with "Protecting your connection to a newly detected network on adapter "Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface" (IP address: .......".

What does this mean?  Internet search produced discussions of IPV4, IPV6, etc . . . none of which I understand, AT ALL.  Can this be explained in "simple" terms that even I can understand?  Yes, it says "No Action Required", but that's not really very comforting when I see so many such entries.
