I would like to start testing NIS against Viruses, Malware, Spyware etc. in the near future. I have a old Dell computer with NIS2009 on it that has over a million files. I will be reformatting the computer soon. I also have open subscriptions to Spyware Doctor and Spysweeper which are only downloaded to my desktop. After reformatting I would like to experiment with all 3 with viruses, malware and spyware. The question I have is, by doing this is it possible to screw up a computer so bad that reformatting cannot bring it back to life?
