Hi
I have recently had to reinstall Ghost 14 and have defined a new backup location on an External HDD. This device is also used to store many of my files to release space on my 2 Internal HDDs. My copy of Ghost 14 was a download and from the supplied installations I used the ISO file to burn the recovery Disc.
To keep my Norton Ghost backup images isolated from the other data I have created a folder on this External device called Norton Backups. The backups in this folder can be browsed and mounted as they should.
I thought I had better check that my recovery Disc works so I booted up using the CD and it did boot into Windows. However, when I did boot up from the CD I expected it to open some sort of recovery console showing that I had images of my backup system/drives available to recover should I have wished.
I cannot find anything in the help files for Ghost 14 that explain clearly how the recovery system should work so I am concerned that something is amiss.
Can anyone please explain what I should see when I boot from the Recovery Disc and how the recovery of my system should work if I needed to recover the system due to the failure of my HD.
