Today a (purportedly) Norton 360 window popped up informing me that a program I've had on my computer for six years, Verizon Servicepoint, is "not compatible" with N360.
I was puzzled by this -- why would this program be incompatible all of a sudden? -- but since I wasn't using it I went ahead and uninstalled it anyway after (just in case) creating a restore point.
After this, though, I got a new N360 window saying, "Thank you for choosing Norton 360," and inviting me to click on "Agree & Install" and thereby agree to the Norton License Agreement.
This is all awfully strange. I've had N360 on this computer for going on six years now, so what's the deal with suddenly being thanked for choosing N360 and getting asked to install it??
I'm using Norton 360 version 21.7.0.11 on Vista Home Premium x64.
Any insights will be appreciated. I've attached a screenshot below.
