Where are the servers for the cloud?
You're welcome.
Thank you so much for your help. With my head in the cloud it was a little foggy but your answer cleared it up for me :) Gary
Hi, Gary. In so far as security is concerned Norton uses a combination of downloaded definitions, and is also able to scan cloud definitions for the latest information on detecting malware.
So that aspect of protection is safe.
As far as cloud storage of passwords etc is concerned, then yes, there is always a possibility of information being stolen/hacked.
Personally I prefer to keep my passwords either in my head, or written down, as statistically the likelihood of you being burgled and your passwords being stolen from your desk notepad, is extremely unlikely !
Hope that helps. Chances are cloud storage is not going to be a problem, but you need to decide whether you're comfortable with it.
