Hello Computer experts!
I have fought and am still fighting a vicious virus in my computer and would like for suggestions. I will tell you what happened in chronological order below.
1. While trying to use search engines like google, bing, ask.com, ect. I noticed they were not working properly. I would search for a word like "car". I would get reasonable results. I would click on Toyota or something, and get yellow pages the phone book or some other random website.
2. My internet crashed.
3. My host services crashed and I was unable to open anything, which includes tast manager. My computer was rendered imobilized until I restarted it.
4. I sent my computer to my local computer repair place and told them to get rid of malware and viruses.
5. For approximately 2 days, I had no problems.
6. I did a virus scan just to check again the 3rd day after my computer was fixed using systematic anti virus, something my college gave me. It found trojans. I checked to see if I could still use search engines, and I can not any more.
7. I decided to buy your product in hope that it can defeat this virus or virus creating program or whatever it is once and for all.
8. I have nortan antivirus installed and I am still at war with this thing. Please help!
