"the following plug-in has crashed"

this is happening CONSTANTLY.

 

is there an update, or just a way to turn it off?

i could remove it completely, but something tells me i should prolly keep it around.

My computer is three days old and I am on the "trial version".  Browser is Chrome.  I am getting the message Norton Confidential has crashed MANY times a day.  I went to Tools trying to find a way to disable the add-ons but it is not under tools.  I am so frustrated that I am getting ready to uninstall and try AVG or Mcafee.  HELP.

I am getting this constantly as well. My Chrome version is 18.0.1010.1.

In addition, the Norton toolbar does not consistently appear.

Browser fields (such as login field) are also not filling-in.

EVERYTHING WORKS FINE IN INTERNET RXPLORER VER 7, which is only on my PC because it is required for Windows XP updates.
