I am writing for an internet friend in another state. Although she is sharper with computers than most of those whose computers I work on, she is 86 and is frustrated to the extreme.
A tech recented reformatted and reinstalled her XP SP3 OS. This computer was built for her, so the motherboard drivers had to be reinstalled from the disc. The Gigabyte disk included a trial of Norton Anti-Virus which the tech installed. She decided to see what it was all about, so registered at Norton. But she immediately received a deluge of over 30 emails and decided she didn't want the product. She finally got it uninstalled, but because she was never given a product key, she has been unable to even use the "contact us" here at Norton. She tried to sign into the account she created, but was told the email she was using was incorrect - even though this email is being used to inundate her inbox.
So, is there any way to contact anyone to delete the account and stop the emails?
