hello.
I have a problem which I cannot solve. I am using Norton Internet Security. Everything was okay till yesterday.
I scanned 1.18GB zip file, using norton internet security. But it did not complete its scan and even went into scanning mode, while reducing my C disk space little by little, till a warning of low disk space popped up. I was shocked so, I went to check my C disk space and I was shocked to see it was 90+mb. and still going down.
I tried to stop the scan but no to avail. Then, I used task manager, to end that process. I did not understand why it was like that as I had no problems scanning the other files.
I thought, maybe the cause is that file. So, I deleted it and got a new file today.
But, it got the same incident above. Still never complete scanning and reducing disk space at the same time.
When I started scanning it, the total number of items scanned went from 1 to 1400+. At that point - 1400+, it seemed the end but it was still in scanning mode, while the total number of items remained 1400+. Then, while in that scanning mode, that reduced my disk space till low disk space warning. 
Do you know what is the problem??? sigh. I thought of installing another anti-virus to scan it but having 2 anti-virus on 1 computer is not good. how how?? I do not want to uninstall my norton. so a hassle. is there any free anti-virus which is okay for computer to have it installed along with norton?
I never extracted that file yet as I do not know whether it is without virus anot.
