The update of the viral signatures is violated when to enable VPN

During the work of the system, viral signatures are updated several times a day, which are in numerical folders at C:\Program Files\Norton\Suite\defs

On the indicated path, their last version is sharpened at the time of turning off the computer or restart of the system, and then each subsequent will replace the previous one, so the first and last folders with signatures are preserved in the system, each of which has approximately the same size +/- 270 MB.

However, if the update of the viral signatures occurs at the moment when the VPN is turned on, the new version of the signature does not replace the previous one. As a result, the system accumulates many folders during the operation of the system, each of which takes 270 MB, which can exceed 1.5 GB in the system.

Does Norton VPN Ultimate have Troubleshooting options.

There is no such possibility. And such errors are not eliminated so quickly.

No, I report errors here. One such one with encoding has already been fixed.
Although it was indicated not even in the main post, but in one of the comments.
