The Windows 10 November 2021 Update is now available (Windows 10 version 21H2)

Microsoft released the Windows 10 November 2021 update, also known as Windows 10 version 21H2, today. The new version of Windows 10 is a smaller update that is being rolled out gradually to the entire device population.

Note that the update does not seem to be pushed to devices via automatic updates yet. Windows 10 administrators who are interested in the update can go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update to hit the "check for updates" button on the page. The new feature update should be returned during the check, and administrators may select the "download and install" link to start the download of the update.

It's not offered here yet.

I  just knocked off Delay all my updates for 3 weeks and told it to go ahead and it did ....

Sharing.
Got bored; waiting for 21H2. Decided to utilise the 'CAB Package¦KB5003791'.
Built the 'CMD' line in the 'Notepad', to assure a correct syntax.
Copy/Paste the 'command' to the CMD:Prompt. Ran to completion, OK.
21H2 64-bit installed short-smart, OK.
3-machines on 21H2. All good !

Main lappy offered the update up a bit ago via LU. Smooth and fast.

Interesting week ?
Offered W11 64-Bit. W10 Home.
Offered W10 21H2 32-Bit. W10 Home (Snail Speed).
Alas, nothing offered on W10 Pro 64-Bit.

I had a punt around the Microsoft Catalogue; it threw-up KB5007186, 2021-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H2 for *.*-based Systems.
Any input would be appreciated.

While waiting for machines to 'crunch & churn, crash & burn' . I've let 21H2 run on the 32-bit. Being the slowest machine; I thought it'd take ages: no time at all.
Invested in a few routines. All Good ! It shows up in 'Installed Updates' as, 'via Enablement Package ( KB5003791 )'.

Just now getting the free time to get it done. Quick and painless indeed. Thanks!!

IMA: The update doesn't show in my update history. Still shows 21H1 although the system does report 21H2.

This method worked for me.  Very quick and painless.

Not yet running Windows 10 21H1? It’s time

If you are still running Windows 10 2004 or 20H2, it’s time to move to 21H1. Here's how to do that and what to keep in mind as we roll toward the release of Windows 11.

If you run Windows 10 Professional (with access to the local group policy editor,) there’s another way to upgrade to 21H1. Click on the search box and type in edit group policy. Launch the console and browse to Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components>Windows Update, and finally get to Windows Update for Business. At the bottom, you should see “Select the target Feature Update version.” Click to enable and enter in 21H1.

And now you wait for it to be offered up.

  9. Windows 10 installs the update and prompts you to restart the device.

Windows 10 version 21H2 is installed after the restart. You can check that by selecting Start > Settings > System > About.

From the article at Ghacks:

Should you install the Windows 10 version 21H2 update right now?

If you administrate devices that run Windows 10, you may wonder whether it is a good idea to install the feature update right now. The feature update is just a smaller update, and that means that there is less chance for it causing issues on the device.

On the other hand, it is usually a good idea to wait weeks if not months before installation of new feature updates. Most feature updates have bugs, some of which are discovered after the release of the feature update.

In any event, it is a good idea to create a system backup before you install the update. It installs quickly and while you may use the rollback option that is integrated into Windows 10, for up to 30 days after installation, it is better to have a second option if something breaks.
