I have never used any of my computers on-line w/o NIS protection. No one has access to my computers except me. When not in use, I completely power-down my computers. However, last spring someone, using one of my old receive-only e-mail addresses, sent e-mails to everyone in my address book, including addresses no longer valid. The subject line was always blank and the body only contained a web site. I don’t know if these sites are malicious or just some form of spam. All that were sent to invalid addresses came back to me as undeliverable mail. Where possible, I sent notes to some my contact that these notes did NOT come from me and should be deleted w/o opening the web site links. A few weeks ago he did it again. Any ideas as to how the thief gained access to my address book? IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO PREVENT HIM FROM CONTINUING TO DO THIS ON A NEVER-ENDING CYCLE? Thanks for any help you can offer.
