"There is a backup problem..."

Using Norton Security with Backup, I could not back up to my F: drive ("My Passport"), which at present is clearly accessible and which I used with my Norton 360 for the past 2 or 3 years (received the usual error "There is a backup problem..." even after following Norton's stated corrective steps). I need the manual option (I understand the current automatic option seems to work for some, but I have not explored) and have worked-around by renaming the old "NORTON360_BACKUP" folder on the target drive to "HIDE_NORTON360_BACKUP", and allowing Norton Security with Backup to create its own folder and file. I assume this means the information in the old folder will have to be restored by the old Norton 360, which I can do by re-installing my old disc drive (replaced with DSS), so I'm sure that this will not suit everyone, but for me it covers bases adequately. Hope this will help some people.
