Hi All
Last Monday (Mar 28) I did my first full backup to an external hard drive. That drive was lettered 'G'. Everything seemed fine except NG wouldn't allow me to safefly eject my external drive. I 'stopped service' and was able to eject it.
Today, I ran another full backup to the same external drive. It is now labeled 'K' drive. However, Norton's Home Page is telling me that status details is 'at risk' and no recovery points exist for 'K' drive.
But, if I go to the Advanced tab, the Drives tab is telling me that "Last Recovery Point" is never and drive 'K' is at risk. It shows that something was backed up today, and by the size is seems that it was a full backup.
What do I do???? I backed up, but will I be able to restore if need be?? And why am I at risk?? Has it something to do with the different drive letter? today the backup I did last Monday is also showing as drive 'K'.
What did I do wrong and how do I correct it? I had planned on doing incremental backups of 'c' drive the remainder of the Sundays in this month, and then do another full backup the first Sunday in May, etc... I don't think Norton likes me.
Thanks for your help, which I really need
