I also had the same problem and I did a system restore to a time before it was loaded and it got rid of it.

TYVM Quads - as usual - right on - after following your link, my grand daughter thinks I am a hero as she got her laptop back working and met her on-line course assignment deadline!!!!
It's not that hard I just keep symptoms of the different (not all are viruses) Malware in my head, what they block, alter, do to Windows, how they run, so how to break, and whether they can come as combos, which require extra steps to break them down.
