Each eve, lately, suddenly off access to WIFI. Computer says connection exists but I am not connected. Cannot reconnect by normal means and have been going to a past start point, with all the tedious Windows system restore, downloading of catchup from Norton, computer restarts.
Windows 8. With a specific name for my WIFI connection from Comcast and a secret password associated with that.
Of course, with no internet connection, I cannot even get updates from Norton.
Use Firefox, have startup protection from Norton that is lower than 'aggressive' and always get Norton latest updates before I go on web.
Quite ignorant and no techy at all. Problem only started about 3 days ago, but it is daily.
My last question was answered so patiently I thought I would ask this.
Believe I still have Best Buy Geek Squad contract but would, probably, need to schedule a show up, there, with my laptop. Help from Norton Forum folks might be faster and more convenient.
