I am running Norton Internet Security 2012 19.5.0.145.
When I start Thunderbird it takes a long time to download the mail from the server. The hard drive light stays lit for at least 30-45 seconds. I thought maybe NIS was scanning large attachments but most times it's just small 1K to 3K e:mails. When I checked which processes were hogging all the clock cycles it was ccsvchst.exe.
What is ccsvchst.exe doing and how can I stop it from taking so long???
