Time Change

Is there a way to prevent kids changing PC time with your product?  I found my kids playing with PC time to get more time on PC.

Also it will be nice to have more granular time restriction setup.  My kids found that rounding per hour kind of too much restrictive.  For them 30 more internet minutes counts.  Time per 15 minutes increments is desirable.

Even with Standard User and Parental setup they can change time.  I will have to add another software to block him to do that.  It will have been nice to have your software track time change.

Is your software rely on PC time to lock his access or you have your own timer build in your product that keep track wish time zone he login?  Can be done via IP address range like most web app are doing now a days.

Hi visiotech,

The program shows PC System Time gets changed at Activity -> Time.

Right!  But do not prevent to change it like I would expect for such parental security program.

Be nice also to have mode choice to lock by time.  We have holidays, vacation, school break, school day off etc during the week.  If known ahead we could setup policies where these dates the time allowed will be different.  Today I have two sets of rules for the entire week.  Not flexible enough in my view.

My 2 cents!

I forgot.  Time change should be lock no matter user level (Admin or Standard).  Only based on userid...

So if I gived admin level to my kids I can still protect time change and me be able to adjust time using a different userid.

My objective is to allow admin level and remain mostly under control using your software. In that way security is based strictly on userid like most OS and security software do.
