Time Monitoring/Most Active Apps

I'm trying to understand the time monitoring - and I also can't help feeling like there's a lot more information you have that isn't being made available to us.

First of all, looking at my Daughter's activities, it shows that she's been on for 2 1/2 hours today. However, when I look at the Most Active Apps, it only shows three - one at 1/2 hour, and two at 1/4 hour. That adds up to 1 hour. What was the other 1 1/2 hours spent on? I just doesn't add up for me.

Second, why do we have such a restrictive selection on the Most Active Apps? Only Today or Last 7/14/30 Days. What if I want to see Yesterday? I know you retain that data, or you couldn't do the Last x days options, so how come we can't see it?

To give some background, I feel like I want to restrict time differently depending on the app. I would allow her much more time to listen to the radio or talk to her friends then I would playing games or watching movies. However, the interface doesn't allow such fine control. the Most Active Apps seems like it should be able to give me the information I need, however the restrictive selection (and questionable data) isn't helping.

And as a side note - she found out (and to her credit told me about it) that if she starts the radio app or the Hangouts call then turns the screen off, she can still hear (and talk to her friend) without Norton counting it as time used. Which kind of works in that these are activities I'm not so concerned about putting a time limit in (they're not really 'screen time'), but thought I'd point out that this is a way to bypass the monitoring for any apps that only require audio. They'll also continue working into the blocked times, which I'm not so happy about.
