Time Restrictions and Monitoring Stopped

Hello, I'm a new user to the Norton Family product, having just downloaded and installed on my daughter's PC in the last week or so.  The product seemed to work well for about a week, but all activity monitoring seems to have ceased three days ago, and none of the time restrictions I have active are taking affect.  Are there a common set of things that would cause this to happen?  And how do I get this working again?  This seemed to happen when I was using Microsoft's product as well, which is why I opted to for Norton instead...
