I read in one of the questions that the time for the time settings is not read from the local PC clock, but from the server time. Is this set to GMT or do I need to adjust the hours to suit whatever time zone the server is in?

You don't need to make any special adjustments to your PC time settings to make the Online Family program work correctly. The program can figure out how to convert the time and show the correct time stamps as long your PC shows the proper time. Below is the Time Settings on my PC. I'm in Los Angeles with Pacific Time.
