I feel that I must be missing something, because this would be one of the most basic requirements of any web oriented "filter" or "parental control" utility...
I want to only restrict Internet access for my kids during certain times - NOT restrict their computer usage. If they are using certain applications for homework, for example, I want to permit that, but without the distractions of Facebook. etc. during the hours when they should be focused on productivity rather than socializing.
Is this not possible with Norton Online Family? All I can find in the Time Settings is the ability to "log them off" and "block them from using computer".
Surely I'm missing something, because every other competing product on the market provides the ability to block web access during certain time frames, while allowing the child to continue using other applications on the computer.
Secondly - and a more elaborate requirement - I saw a message in this forum from many months ago where someone wanted to only block facebook.com during certain hours, yet leave access to other websites available (for homework research, etc.). I know this is not available, but there was a promise to add it to the enhancements list. In this case, "some" competing products allow for this, and it would be an EXCELLENT addition to Norton.
