Hi,
Somewhere I read that the time only counts active usage, but my son reported that the timer was counting time when he wasn't using his computer. So I tested it. I extended his time by half an hour, timed the half hour with no one touching the computer, then let him use the computer. Within a couple minutes the time ran out and he was blocked from using the computer. So what stops the timer, logging off? Putting the computer to sleep? Shutting down?

Is there a fix for this yet? Is the workaround to logout each time? From reading other threads wouldn't that start the entire time block over again for the day effectively defeating the purpose? Is it possible to get around this by logging the user out but not shutting down?? Find it hard to believe this is still an issue since its such a basic feature of the product.
Thanks.
Theresa
Hi tcurnow,
The program can track the PC time that has been used for the day when a kid logs onto the PC again on the same day. It won't count the total allowed time for the day.
Thanks,
Katie
