We unplug our internet cable from the router when we are not using internet. If I have a zombie computer I would not know it and so we unplug from internet when we are not doing something online. That being the case a lot of times if not everytime we come back to the computer and wake it from sleep we then see slow performance from our computer when going online and get the NIS error code 8506,421. The error code says Norton has detected that Norton cannot access internet. Well duh! And so then it takes Norton awhile to come up with a solution or Norton sends me to the Norton web site and tells me to restart my computer. I am tired of all of this wasted time. Is the Norton Internet Security compromised while it has figured out I am not online? Or does NOrton Internet Security just want to waste my time? Am I still protected? I am sure not every body that has NIS 2013 is not always connected to the internet Does everybody else get the error code 8506,421 every time they disconnect from internet?? Is there something I can do to stop wasting time dealing with this apparently useless error code.
