TO : NIS 2009 USERS

Hi people

 

This is a request to NIS 2009 users whether on 16 or 16.5 or 16.7.2.10 or 16.7.2.11.

 

I am particular interested in UK users although other contributions would be useful. (please state your country when responding).

 

Equally I am particularly interested in XP users although again contributions from other are welcome (please state you Operating System).

 

I am ONLY interested in responses from people who can run liveupdate manually and have no reported issues whatsoever.

 

OK to the above can you please find your log.lue file (for example in XP it is in c:\documents & settings\All Users\application Data\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7\Norton\Lue\logs

then open your log.lue using saying notepad or wordpad and search for "ERR". If you have any check this is in the last report within the log. i.e. at the end of the report.

Please post the first few lines starting with ERR.

 

I have several machines which are reporting errors, using different versions of NIS and in different locations, yet they share common errors.
