Too many items showing in cloud backup

The cloud backup used to show only the files I wanted to backup.
Now it shows (greyed out) hundreds of files and folders that I’m not interested in backing up.
How do I stop this and get back to just seeing the ones I’m interested in?

Maybe, start over and add only the Folders\Files you want.
Try turning off Back up common file types only

Maybe, then you can start over and add only the folders\files you want backed up

Note: Norton 360 → Troubleshooting → Reset to Default…resets Cloud Backup

Note: with Reset to Default…please review Norton 360 - Settings to your preference.

I’m unsure where you’re seeing “greyed out” files and folders

Caveat: my Back up common file types only…is disabled

Maybe, with Back up common file types only…enabled…files and folders are “greyed out”. IDK

I deleted the backup and started again.

At about 5th attempt I have got the settings right, so I’m only backing up the files I want to backup, and the display is only showing those files.
