I am brand new to Norton AntiVirus. I've used BitDefender for the past year, and it always ran in the background, keeping my computer safe.....I never knew when it ran scans. If it found an issue, which was rare, it would let me know. It never asked for a restart after updates, etc. Just today, with Norton, I have received numerous notifications...either no threats were found - (why would it tell me this each time?), or it was letting me know that it had updated something, and I needed to restart. I work on my computer, all day long. I do not need these interruptions. I went in to the settings, and turned the task notification off.....but what about the constant updates? If anyone can shed some light on these issues, I'd be greatly appreciative.
