I'm running updated versions of IE8 and NIS 2009 in XP Professional SP3.
Antiphishing and Safe Web are enabled. The tray icon displays the green tick for NIS. The toolbar is present and functioning, and Google searches displays Safe Web icons.
Soft32.com is flagged as unsafe, with 1 adware and 1 information stealer. Why does Norton still let me click on and open the site without any prompting?
If I disable Safe Web but leave Antiphising enabled, then I can visit it without anything at all to indicate the site is potentially unsafe. Is this normal - I assume the threat of an information stealer does not come under the remit of Antiphishing?
