I wanted to post a REPLY on topic http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/NIS-2009-scheduled-full-system-scan-not-running/m-p/65218/message-uid/65218, but the REPLY button was grayed out.
This issue is apparently caused by a Live Update (or similar automatic update) changing the path to Norton Antivirus files without updating the corresponding Scheduled Task.
The topic showed "delete and re-create" as a solution..
No mention was made of fixing the root cause.(that Norton Antivirus changed the path to its executable files without updating the scheduled task.)
Has the root cause been fixed?
If not, when will the root cause be fixed?
The About dialog on my copy of Norton Antivirus shows 16.8.0.41.
