Tracking Cookie removal not working

Hi,

I am a Norton 360 user for about 10 years. Today I discover that tracking cookie removal not working. I checked whether the option to check tracking cookie in setting is really enable or not. It is enabled.

I again scanned my system for virus and it has found 0 tracking cookie. Then I tried a free utility from Sophos (Hitman-pro) It detected 354 tracking cookies.

I than checked with behaviour or other system with Norton 360 installed and same issue.

I again surfed web on my laptop again for 1 hour and checked for tracking cookie again Norton detected 0 and hitman-pro this time detected only 27 tracking cookies.

It makes me wonder If this feature is working or killed by Norton. If it is killed my Norton, I need to take my business to some other security company.

Any update?

I've escalated your issue.  Someone may be in contact if they need further details.

Cheers!

Some website do not allow login if I disable third party cookie. But i like the idea. (google ad services uses 1st party cookies as advertisement data from last 10 months or so)

But the option in the security software - 360 should work.

This isn't an answer for your problem but maybe a work-around.  If you block third-party cookies in your browsers you will stop nearly all tracking cookies and should not see any negative outcomes.

Just a thought.
