I have a ? regarding traffic rules in N360 v4. Does installing a software application change the traffic rules? Yesterday, I installed and removed Google Chrome in a non-admin account. Today, I observed in the history of 360 about firewall rules being created for Google Chrome and the Updater by me. I did not create these rules, but 360 says "You". I removed the program rules for Google, but I do not know if the traffic rules were changed.
Also, I do have one more ?. Does 360 protect Google Chrome?

Norton 360 has an auto configuration for the firewall. It allows most of the known programs to run.
You can turn the auto program control off in the Firewall settings, and use manual ones as well. But this way you have to allow / disable all of the programs manually.

Yes, it is protected. All of the files are scanned with the auto-protect and other file based technologies. There's only the Norton toolbar which one is missing from Chrome. That is only available for IE6+, and FF2+.
