Yes, I recently upgraded from NIS 2007 to 2008.

I could be wrong on this, but I believe you have to use the Norton Migration Tool before upgrading to NIS 2008.

That is the procedure I used and everything transferred very easily.

Unfortunately, that process was not clearly spelled out on the upgrade page and I literally stumbled upon the Migration Tool before I did the upgrade.

Yesterday I added the Add-on Pack to my Norton Internet Security. Before doing so I was offered to backup my AOP settings for transferring to the Add-on Pack. I did so and have an Backup AOP Settings icon on my desktop. How do I transfer the contents to the Anti Spam portion of the Add-on Pack? Clicking on the icon only allows me to save. I've already saved. I've tried dragging and dropping the Backup icon to the NIS icon but it won't stay or transfer anything.

I assume you are currently using NIS2008.  Did you have a previous version of Norton Internet Security installed previously?
