I have NIS 2014 installed on one PC and Norton 360 installed on 3 PC's at home.
1) NIS 2014 will expire in November, 2014. How should I proceed with renewal?
a) NIS 2014 is set for automatic renewal in my Norton Account. Will Norton automatically renew it as a NIS product or refuse to renew it because it is discontinued and replaced by Norton Security; in case Norton refuses to renew NIS, do I have to uninstall NIS 2014 completely and purchase Norton Security and start as a new customer of Norton's, erasing my past record with Norton?
2) Norton 360 on my 3 other computers will expire on May 1st, 2015. If it is true that I can install the same Norton Security I may have to purchase for the first computer of mine above, then I can use a single product for all the four computers, so what should I do with Norton 360 that will expire in May 2015:
a) Wait until it expires, turn off automatic renewal, uninstall it and install the same Norton Security that I will purchase for the first computer (with NIS 2014 now), supposing I have to purchase NS in November 2014, at no additional cost and halfway through the subscription period of NS until November 2015 when one and the same NS is due for renewal on all the computers?
b) How to proceed otherwise should 2 a) doesn't sound right ?
3) If you ignore above remarks, what practical solutons can be offered other than I thoght of above?
I will be looking forward to, will very much appreciate replies, by Community users and Forum Administrator. I apologize for not directing to Symantec Customer Support because I can hardly get through to the right person because of automated question and answer sessions talking to a virtual customer support agent.
Best regards to those who can get back to me with advice.
