Trapped by fake Norton site during my upgrade

Dear Norton Community friends,

Recently I purchased Norton antivirus software from Staples. As per instruction I entered the norton.com/setup. Upon going to website it asked me to enter the product key. Upon entering the product key it gave me an error . Screen shots pictures are shared below link[Removed]

Upon repeated unsuccessful attempt I called Norton support number displayed on webpage 18445348202. The tech support Patric Sanders indicated I have issues to download and he need access to my computer. First I not comfortable to share my computer then I trusted well it is Norton. He took the control of software and told me I have issues with my network and I need to buy software. This gave me confirmation I am on fake site. Immediately I turned off my internet .

Again I went to Norton website and call the customer support number. This time I confirmed it was not fake. After waiting for an hour on line the tech support asked me to download a software. Upon download the computer never rebooted and I tried to boot different ways and I am asked for admin password.

This is quite frustrating and I am not sure how I boot my computer without loosing my data.

I guess I trusted Norton too much. Any help is highly appreciated form community.
