I recently installed and used the Trend Micro HouseCall updater and launcher program on a Windows XP PC that found a trojan horse missed by the latest Norton Internet Security update. So I installed it on a Windows Vista PC that also has NIS on it, and fortunately found no viruses. However, NIS subsequently called several files left over in my ...\appdata\temp\houscall directory "High Risk" files and blocked and quarantined them. An example file name is vs0eeo30.076. I find it interesting that Norton considers Trend Micro's files a high risk. It said there are few users. Perhaps this is because it's a new program. Does anyone have any human insight or experience with this NIS behavior? How do we get the attention of Symantec to resolve this issue?
