Hi all, my apologies if ive posted in the wrong place .As of last night, I got " trial expired" notice an " you are not protected" We have 2 laptops, both with the same notifications. We both have a years protection 360 prem still covered till Oct. We bought off ebay ( yes, I know, I know) we had probs to start with the same thing and we have been fine for a while now. Until last night. I have done the live chat and mine was sorted very quickly I was extremely happy. The account product key was in I guess the sellers name.
I hope this makes sense !
However sorting out the other laptop, was and still is a nightmare. This product key is In yet another name!! I was told all 10 seats are taken ( which should include ours) and nothing can be done. Yes this will teach us.
What I don't understand is this, I'm hoping someone can explain to me, why one product key in someone else's name who we purchased from can be sorted no problem but the other name cant be sorted? We purchased 2 lots of cover from the same seller at the same time.
My apologies for my ignorance, but I cant get my head round this! If each cover has separate names is surely irrelevant ?
Needles to say we wont be purchasing from a 3rd party again!
