Trojan.ADH.2. attack

Hello,

This Trojan.ADH.2. is trying to attack my computer every 2 minutes or so.

My Norton Auto-Protect is blocking it every time, so my computer is secure.

Is there a way I can stop these attacks?

If you were familiar with using MSCONFIG and went and had a look in the startup folder, you would no doubt find a suspicious entry which reloads the trojan everytime you reboot your PC.

Another way to prevent this happening is to turn off system restore and then do a full scan with your Norton Anti-virus.

An easier approach is to download the free version of Malwarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and install it.

Reboot your PC into "SAFE MODE" and then run Malwarebytes.

Starting computer in SafeMode is useful when troubleshooting computer problems by limiting the resources it loads.

1. During BootUp process Press F8 continuously until selection appears
2. Use Arrow Up+Down to select SafeMode on the selections menu.
3. Hit Enter to proceed.

Run msconfig press windows key + r press enter then disable all entries except the audio and antivirus Download Hijack this.exe and also run scan if u seem confused then pls upload the log file But if u are concerned about privacy. Then please run windows defender and open tools --> software explorer and remove the entries.

Before doing the above just change all the norton setting such as heuristics etc to agressive and run a full system scan
