Today I ran a Full Scan with Norton, and it completed saying all was good. It didn't find any threats. Then I ran the Malwarebytes program, and it detected this:
Trojan.Dropper.Gen Malware with this location file: c:\windows\temp\appx.808pi34xepji0ylgl6m3lvyee.tmp
Why didn't the Norton Full Scan pick this one up? Malwarebytes directed the removal of the threat and said restarting my computer would complete the threat removal.
Okay, yes, I'm more than a tad puzzled as to why Norton didn't detect this.
If anyone knows more about this, please share your knowledge with me.
Thank you for any assistance.
Sincerely,
Buoybells
