Trojan.Dropper Question

  Today I ran a routine scan of my PC, using Malwarebytes's Anti-Malware.  I wasn't having any problems, I just try to run a scan every week or so.  During the scan, the program did find 1 Object Infected.  After the scan, it showed I had a Trojan.Dropper in C:\windows\imgtga.dll.  I clicked on the remove and quarantine button.  I then rebooted my PC.  I went into SAFE Mode, unplugged my internet connection and ran another scan.  This scan didn't find any problems.  Then just to be sure, I also ran scans using SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition and HiJackThis.  Neither scan found anything.  NIS2009 seems to be running normally and it did three Quick Scans today and didn't find any problems.

  When I logged into this forum, I did a search for Trojan.Dopper malware.  Most of the time it looks like that Trojan leaves a sneaky little file behind.  I searched my PC for that imgtga.dll file, but couldn't find any reference to it.  Can I assume I'm safe?  When I looked at the HiJackThis file, I think one of the O2 BHO files needs to be removed.  Would you look at the log and let me know if you see anything that needs to be removed?

The Spy Sweeper: Is that currently Running, i.e. Real-Time Protection?  What product is it?

 

If you're still concerned, I would suggest following the Removal instructions.  Trojan.Dropper is a Trojan horse that drops Trojan horses or back door Trojans onto compromised computers.

Yes; you can remove the O2 BHO no file listing in HiJackThis.  It is not needed at all.  The rest looks clean.
