Trojan.Kotver!gm2

Thanks Krusty13 and 20750065.  I did not notice the link being active as I am busy removing the malware on infected systems and that usually takes priority in my mind.

@Krusty13: Thx. I wanna make it clear that the following Spyhunter related links need to be disabled:

I've notified that misleading stuff twice. And, I've also sent a PM to dbrisendine. Please help @ him if you can.

Thx all. :)

@20750065

I have asked for the hyper-link in your post and the one in this post to be disabled.

Cheers!

@dbrisendine:

Google has the answer.

That link@ hxxp:// www. removepcvirusmalware DOT com/remove-trojan-kotvergm2-easily-from-pc is auto-generated junk, tricking starters into purchasing that "messenger".

Please disable that link ASAP. Thanks.

This Trojan.Kotver!gm2 is really a harmful virus so don't try any thing that harm your PC. Take the expert advice for the removal of this infection. I too had this virus on my PC but I got the solution here :removepcvirusmalware . com/remove-trojan-kotvergm2-easily-from-pc

The software mentioned on that page is really a miracle. You can check out that stuff on your PC for permanent removal of Trojan.Kotver!gm2 virus.

You can also check my comments on that very page as a proof of successful virus removal.

Thank you very much.....

Can you please provide the log file from this software that shows exactly what was removed (files and registry entries) please.  I have removed this twice manually so far and can tell you that there is no installed program so I am very curious as to what exactly this software did.

As a side note, I too find the web page you linked to very interesting as I believe only Norton labels this malware as Trojan.Kotver!gm2, so why would there be a web page obviously worded to only attract Norton customers when searching for this malware?

@ F 4 E: Agree that. At least, no one can uninstall a Trojan Horse through Windows Control Panel - Misleading & Auto-generated JUNK.

Notified...

PS: Download Spybot or, Get SpyHunter instead?

Funny there are two people on the forums today, singing the praises of Spyhunter. THAT makes me suspicious....................

here BC is begging... go and donate some penny to your favorite BC http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/announcement/frivolous-lawsuits/help-bleepingcomputer-defend-freedom-of-speech/

yes but now bleeping computer is begging for donation to get out of the lawsuite that enigma has slapped on the face BC.

RIP BC for writing bad reviews on others products and RIP you kind of guys who just believe on theses types of craps.

Spyhunter worked for me and it is the best in the market

I would NOT use the above suggested software. Spyhunter is listed as unsafe/unreliable software by Bleeping Computers, AND others..

See comments by Bleepin' Janitor in this thread.

Guys,

Firstly, please do NOT try any 'quick fixes' or to solve this yourself.

It sounds like it's time to sign up for assistance from one of the free malware removal sites.  Please pick one and stay with them until your system is clean.
