Hello Sethjake,

First of all, I'm really sorry to hear about your computer problems. Can you please provide some information about the trojan? How is the name of the trojan Norton detected.

Please can you open a new thread? It's not good to mixing windows and apple.

Are you able to send a sample to Symantec? Malware Submission

I would suggest running LiveUpdate today and getting the latest virus defs--I will also ping Security response, but if you are able to do so, please follow that link to see if we can get a submission.

thanks,

mike

hi there--

Just wanted to make sure you knew that we have been adding a few Mac trojan signatures to the defs file (a few last Friday and at least one new one today)--please let me know if they help you out at all!

thanks--

mike

(feel free to email me directly, too - mike_romo@symantec.com, if you have questions, comments, etc!)
